I’m pleased to announce David Schminke as our June employee of the month!
We asked David a few questions about himself so you could get to know him better.
Project Manager for projects that involve water main distribution or replacement, sanitary sewer collection systems, inflow and infiltration reduction projects and site designing. I am also the Evansville Office Manager.
With recent staff changes in our Evansville office, I’ve had to step up and tackle a number of tasks that need to be handled. I assume that my coworkers realize and appreciate it. Whatever the reason, I thank you all for the vote and I want to thank the rest of the Evansville coworkers for stepping up too, because I’m certainly not doing it all by myself.
Old German word meaning face paint, rouge or clown. Many in the family still seem to be true to the namesake I suppose (artsy folks), but I don’t wear makeup, just act like a clown sometimes. I’ll just leave you the screenshot picture that you get when you Google images for the name Schminke. May have been hard to live with as a kid if Google had been around back then.
Believing it is a worthwhile mission to stop the illicit disposal (flushing) of wipes into our sewer systems.
No question, I’d have to relive June 27, 1976, Aerosmith and Ted Nugent concert at City Park Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ted started off by jumping the stage on a motocross bike, did a few donuts, leaped off and grabbed his guitar from an aerial toss and began jamming. Other artists that played that day included Jeff Beck, Bob Segar, REO Speedwagon, Rush, and Nazareth. It was billed as the Bicentennial Revolution and all of it occurred in the span of one day. My family thought I was camping out!
I believe that there is only one way to do things and that is the right way and with the right equipment. Also, I want everyone to know that I’m going to my first “Little Miss” pageant at the Posey County fair this year and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Go Brylee!!!!
To the Woods and Back: 150 Years Too Late.
That there is only one way to do things and that is the right way and with the right equipment. Sound familiar? That and the importance of family… and good client relationships.
