Wessler is proud to announce Jen Landis is the subject of this month's Employee Spotlight!
As our in-house recruiter, Jen plays a key role in growing our team with additional talented professionals. So, if you are looking for a job with Wessler, you may be hearing from her!
We asked Jen some questions so we can all get to know her a little better. Please join us in congratulating Jen!
What are your roles/responsibilities at Wessler?
I’m a Jill of all trades but my responsibility is to scout for the best talent and share why Wessler is such a great place to work. I love to talk and I love working here, so it’s a fun conversation to have with candidates. Other duties consist of onboarding new hires, employee engagement, working with marketing on some projects and most importantly, helping with whatever is needed. I feel like an unwritten role within my position is bringing the fun to the administrative department 😉.
What is the top destination on your must-visit list?
I have a serious case of wanderlust, so for a milestone birthday I have coming up next year I’m planning a trip to Greece.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
Karaoke is my jam and I feel like I have a song for every occasion. One that always works is “I Love Rock ‘n Roll” by Joan Jett.
What is your favorite music genre?
When it comes to music, I like it all, except country. My top SiriusXM stations are Alt Nation, Tom Petty Radio, Lithium and Classic Vinyl.
Are you more of a dog or cat person?.jpg?width=250&name=Schnitzel%20(2).jpg)
Cats and dogs are equally loved, but currently it’s just Schnitzel, my mini dachshund who you will see, but more likely hear, on my Teams calls.
How would you spend a million dollars in 24 hours?
I could spend a million dollars in probably four hours and it would be on a house, travel, miscellaneous shopping and a bottle of ridiculously expensive tequila to kick things off.
