We asked Kasey some questions so that we all can get to know her a little better, including her love for her dog, concerts, sports, and volunteering, as well as her recent hike in the Rocky Mountain National Forest. Congrats, Kasey!
As a project engineer in the stormwater group, I work with a team to evaluate existing stormwater infrastructure, compile planning studies, and design stormwater improvement projects. I enjoy the complexity of providing a well-designed solution that is cost effective and provides water quality benefits.
The “Wessler Way” to me is a commitment to our clients, passion for our projects, and respect for everyone involved. It is a reminder that we are here to help sustain safe and inviting communities and provide solutions that will last well into the future.
I love live music, so my number one hobby is probably going to shows. I also enjoy hanging out with family, friends, and my dog, Duffy, and staying active through volleyball and tennis. I volunteer for Keep Indianapolis Beautiful a few times a year, as well.
Hmm, this is a tough one. I am mediocre at a lot of things. One time, I built a coffee table out of a pallet, and I can drive a manual transmission.
So many things. Definitely travel. I’d like to check off all 50 states and all US National Parks. Out of the big three music venues in the US (in my opinion), I’ve been to Red Rocks and the Caverns; next on the list is the Gorge in Washington.
The first thing that comes to mind that is more recent is hiking the Estes Cone Trail at Rocky Mountain National Park. It was the most challenging hike that I have done, and the views at the summit were well worth it (picture is from the Estes Cone Trail).
My bracket is definitely busted! I had Tennessee winning it all and did not pick any of the teams in the final four. I am rooting for Auburn at this point.
Oh my goodness, so many things! Concerts at the Lawn, porch sitting with Duffy, kickball season starting up, the Indianapolis 500, cookouts, the list goes on.
