Employee Spotlight: Kwabena Adu-Sarkodie, P.E.

Wessler is proud to announce that Kwabena Adu-Sarkodie, P.E., is the subject of this month's Employee Spotlight! Kwabena is a key team member who serves as a Senior Project Manager in our wastewater group, with more than 15 years of experience in the industry.

We asked Kwabena a handful of questions so that we all can get to know him better, including his autobiography he wrote at just 12 years old! Please join us in congratulating Kwabena!

What are your roles/responsibilities at Wessler?

I manage and execute projects in all phases of water and wastewater design and have designed treatment systems and pump stations of all sizes. I also provide the coordination necessary to offer complete solutions to different challenges faced by municipalities., in addition to maintaining relationships with existing clients. I also pursue new opportunities for the firm.

What does the Wessler Way mean to you?

To me, it means recognizing and appreciating the great talent that we have and contributing to it. It also means collaborating with our clients to deliver long-term solutions that work for them.

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

I love reading, listening to podcasts on various topics, and exercising.

Do you have any accomplishments that most other people do not know about?

I wrote an autobiography at 12 years old 😊. Definitely did not make the New York Times Bestseller List, but, at the time, I thought it was great!

What are some things you have not done yet that you would still like to do?

I have a long list of books to read. It’s one of those things that can be done at a fun, relaxing pace. I can also add and subtract from the list any time.
