Please join us in welcoming John Haverstock to the Wessler team! John graduated from Purdue University - Fort Wayne with a Bachelor's in electrical engineering, and will be joining our Electrical Group. Below are few questions we had him answer so that we all can get to know him better.
What attracted you to the engineering industry?
The engineering industry seemed to be something I was striving for ever since I was doing repair work with my father at the apartment complex that he owned. It was very intriguing to be able to understand how heating, cooling, and anything using electricity worked. Once in college, I wanted to understand the underlying engineering concepts of the modern world that help to keep everyone comfortable.
What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time?
A few things that I like to do in my free time include: playing volleyball, reading, golfing, and going camping.
Who are some people that you look up to, whether it be family, friends or someone famous, and why?
My father & mother because they are always there to help me in any situation and I am grateful for that. Also, my friend Jacob has continued to push me to achieve my goals that I shared with him, which I have definitely benefited from.
