As a woman who has been working as a wastewater treatment and collection design consultant since 1999, this is quite a change from my experiences when I first started working in the industry. I was curious to know if the perspectives of other women in this industry aligned with my own. I divided the wastewater industry into three groups (design/consulting, construction, and utility roles), and then reached out to women in those roles, with a range of experience levels, to discuss their views.
